Redness or Rosacea

Rosacea is a skin condition known for its hallmark features, including facial flushing, redness, the appearance of visible blood vessels (telangiectasias), and occasional blemishes. Rosacea often starts with sporadic episodes of redness, which can vary in intensity and may come and go. This condition is typically more prevalent among individuals with fair skin.

What causes it

The exact cause of redness-prone skin remains uncertain, but several theories have been proposed. These include the possibility of small intestine bacterial overgrowth, an immune response to the presence of natural skin-dwelling mites like the demodex mite, the instability of blood vessels, genetic predisposition, and the influence of sun exposure.
